Man ‘seen with weapons’ detained after three injured

A man has been arrested in Leeds after being “seen with weapons” and three people were left injured.

Police were called to Otley Road at 2.47pm on Saturday to reports of a “serious incident involving a man seen with weapons”, West Yorkshire Police said.

Officers arrived at the scene to find three people injured. They arrested a man who remains in custody.

Inquiries are under way to establish the “wider circumstances”, the force said.
